Dorr Centre

The first settler arrived in 1856 and the town was platted in 1869. First known as Dorr Centre, it is believed to be named for Thomas Wilson Dorr, leader of the Dorr Rebellion in Rhode Island. Nearby Moline was settled in 1840 and platted in 1872.
